About

I've worn a few hats — a biological field technician working and volunteering on Endangered Species Act surveys, hiking the Coast Range and snowshoeing through National Forests; a surveyor maintaining Public Land Survey System monumentation; a wildfire lookout living on top of a mountain between smoke and lightning. I've led teams on habitat restoration projects, served as an environmental educator, maintained wildlife cameras, and swung tools as a trail worker.

I have a background in Environmental Science and GIS, and I've traveled hundreds of backcountry miles backpacking, paddling, pedaling, climbing mountains, and rappelling down canyons. Working, living, and playing off the grid taught me which tools earn their weight, and what just gets in the way. These apps are built from those lessons.
