Field tools that work in the backcountry.
Offline-first tools for the field. Set them up once — they keep working where the service doesn't.
Has one accidental swipe erased your map, left you hunting for signal? Left you as a blue dot in a sea of empty space?
is somewhere?
These tools work offline. Map, position, records — all on the device, loaded before you leave. When the bars vanish, everything you packed keeps working.
↓ THE SAME MOMENT, OUR WAY ↓
Navigation
Your maps, rendered fast — free U.S. Government topos built in.
Photo + Telemetry
Location on every frame — or none at all.
Spatial Logger
Points and lines, captured simply.
Your dot rides the line. Landmarks float above it. Loops wrap — pan past the start and keep going.
Elevation Profile PREVIEW
Fetched once at home, then the whole profile works offline.
Canyon Mode IN DEVELOPMENT
The descent as an elevation profile — read the canyon's shape before you drop in. Drops appear as steps on the line, annotated with estimates. What that means at the anchor is your call, not the app's.

I’ve worn many hats — a biological field technician working on Endangered Species Act surveys, a surveyor maintaining Public Land Survey System monumentation, and a wildfire lookout living on top of a mountain between smoke and lightning. I’ve contributed to habitat restoration projects, served as an environmental educator, and swung tools as a trail worker. I have a background in Systems Science and GIS, and I’ve traveled hundreds of backcountry miles backpacking, paddling, climbing mountains, and rappelling down canyons — working, living, and playing off the grid. I know firsthand what makes field tools valuable and what just gets in the way. These apps are built from those lessons.
Honest pricing for nonprofits and local government.
